Jason,

Thanks for the delayed post. I'm surprised that the phrase "Western Plan B"
spooked you. Surely you were well aware that a Plan B had been formulated
(at the GWC and several weeks thereafter). We (blood of the lamb Westerners)
have long been aware that demography was against us. Within 250 miles of the
NH border are more people that in all six Western candidate states. We
assumed that NH would win unless there was a run-off election (top two). Even
then, the numbers were not present...the Hamster would still probably win (too
many Steve Forbes a/r Seaboard conservative-libertarians).

We were amazed and delighted that Wyoming did so well in practice
votes; however, we were always aware the most of Wyoming's supporters
were Easterners, and would probably pick NH in their top three or four
choices (their support for WY was a mile wide and an inch thick...like the
Powder River). Few that have lived in WY and its neighboring states would
pick it as a first choice (to truly know WY is to put it as one's 3rd or 4th selection).
The consistently poor showing of South Dakota was indicative that not enough
serious study of candidate states had been done (that is why I and others
wanted the vote put off until membership reached 10-15,000); for, if one is
wild about WY, SD should also be high on the list. SD is more like WY
(culturally, geographically, and politically) than ND...or any other Western state.

In early June a Western FSP was established. We decided not to do much
until after the formal announcement. We do not wish to be in competition with
the FSP. We want only those porcupines that have opted out of the Hamster
(and Seaboard states), and new recruits gathered primarily from the greater
West.

The Western FSP will enhance and promote the cause of liberty and in the
long run help the primary objective of your created Free State Project.
Your efforts will long be appreciated by myself, Westerners, and libertarians
in general.

We will move slow on the WFSP as we want a true consensus state to be
selected. Also, we don't wish to rain on your parade and hinder movement to
Hamsterland. Plans are already in the developmental stage for another GWC (# 2)
in a city close to Yellowstone Park (where ID, MT, and WY) touch. Perhaps,
you could be a speaker and give suggestions, etc.

Yours in Liberty....Deawga'wik,

Ben
